Columbia Bank Celebrates Black History Month With Library Book Donations

FAIR LAWN, NJ – January 31, 2012 -- For the eleventh straight year, Columbia Bank has donated books to fifty selected New Jersey school and public libraries in celebration of Black History Month.

This year’s national bestseller selection, “The Divine Nine” by Lawrence C. Ross, Jr., is a detailed history of African American fraternities and sororities. Previous donations included books on Martin Luther King, the Tuskegee Airmen and black soldiers in the Civil War.
