Center For Food Action Is Latest Columbia Bank Foundation Grant Recipient

Community Grant Supports Local Food Bank Warehouse Renovation

Center For Food Action & Columbia BankFAIR LAWN, NJ -- September 30, 2011 -- Columbia Bank, through their Columbia Bank Foundation, has presented a $23,300 grant to the Center for Food Action (CFA) in Saddle Brook. The grant funded the renovation of their new Saddle Brook food distribution warehouse located at 224 Midland Avenue.

Shown participating in a special presentation are (from left) New Jersey Senator Robert Gordon; Raymond G. Hallock, Columbia Bank’s President and CEO; Patricia Espy, Executive Director of the Center for Food Action, and Walton Clark, President of the CFA Board of Directors. Columbia was also cited for their CFA food collection efforts, since 2004.

Created to serve the needs of local communities, the Columbia Bank Foundation provides grants and contributions to organizations recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
