Columbia Bank Announces Community Service Awards

Bank Recognizes Exemplarily Employee Community Volunteerism

FAIR LAWN, NJ -- September 23, 2011 -- Columbia Bank is proud to announce their 2011 Community Service Award winners, part of a statewide program that recognizes outstanding community support efforts by their employees. Columbia Bank employees receiving this year’s special recognition were:

  • Glenda Campaniolo of Fair Lawn. An active member of the Paramus Rotary Club and their “Gift of Life” and Group Study Exchange” Programs, Meals on Wheels, Eva’s Kitchen and Paramus High School Career Day, Mrs. Campaniolo is Assistant Branch Manager at Columbia’s Broadway (Fair Lawn) branch office.
  • Michael Campbell of Jersey City. An active member of the Paterson Rotary Club, March of Dimes, Paterson Habitat for Humanity, Tooling Around the Township and St. Paul’s CDC, Mr. Campbell is Columbia’s Community Development Officer.
  • Frank Coppola of Hawthorne. An active member of the Paramus Regional Chamber of Commerce, Care Plus Foundation, Hawthorne Lions Club, Hawthorne Mayor’s Economic Development Committee and the Hawthorne Farmers Market, Mr. Coppola is Vice President, Regional Branch Administration Officer for the bank’s Paramus Region.
  • Donna Rivera of Brick. An active member of the Woodbridge Chamber of Commerce, Woodbridge Rotary Club, Woodbridge Township Education Foundation, Woodbridge Housing Authority and Woodbridge Arts Council, Mrs. Rivera is Financial Services Officer at Columbia’s Woodbridge Branch.
  • Barbara Schroeder of Wayne. An active member of the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce, Wayne Rotary Club, Wayne Memorial First Aid and Rescue Squad and Wayne Elks Club, Mrs. Schroeder is Vice President, Regional Branch Administration Officer for Columbia’s Northeast Region headquartered in Wayne.
