Our Mobile Banking service allows you to...

  • Use your existing mobile device
  • Perform online banking activities from anywhere at anytime 
  • Set up customized text messaging alerts for up to 2 phone numbers ... so you always know your account balance.

To get started, you must first be a registered Online Banking customer...

  • From any computer (non-mobile device), visit our web site, click on "Personal Banking Access" and then click on "Sign Up Today!"
  • Read and agree to the disclosures.
  • Complete and submit your Online Banking application (Remember to enroll in Bill Pay during the application process).
  • If your application information matches our records, you will be automatically enrolled. If your application information does not match our records, we will contact you.

Two Mobile Banking Options...

  • If you already have a smartphone, you can access this service through your existing Web browser-based (Internet) service by visiting columbiabankonline.com.
  • If you do not have a smartphone, you can access this service with any mobile device that sends and receives text messages through your existing SMS-based service.  Read "Text Message (SMS) Banking" below on how to get started.

Web-Based Mobile Banking...

  • Using your mobile device's Web browser, visit our website -- columbiabankonline.com. The website will detect that you are using a mobile device and bring you to our secure mobile login page.
  • Without logging in, you can access mobile versions of our most popular website pages -- "Branch/ATM locations" "Rates" and "Contact Us."
  • To start banking, enter your login credentials, along with the answer to the security question previously set up.

When logged in, you can use your mobile device to:

  • Check account balances.
  • Perform quick transfers or schedule one-time transfers.
  • Pay bills for existing payees.
  • View pending payments.
  • Review payment history.
  • View current account and loan rates.
  • Use our Branch/ATM locators.
  • Access customer service information.

Text Message (SMS) Banking...

  • To start using SMS Banking, first log into Online Banking from your computer.
  • Simply click on "Account Access" and "Notifications".
  • Provide your mobile device phone number(s) ... confirm the security code sent to your phone.  Simply choose your primary account, a transfer source account, and alert preferences (i.e. automatic weekly balance alerts and/or low balance alerts).
  • You are now set up for Text Message Banking. You can text your banking commands to 454545 (Tip: store 454545 in your phone's "Contact List" for easy access).

Text Commands...

  • BAL = primary account balance
  • BAL ALL = all account balances
  • BAL CHK = all checking account balances
  • BAL SAV = all savings account balances
  • LAST = last 5 transactions for primary account
  • TRANS amount = transfer money from source to primary account (amount being the amount you wish to transfer)
  • STOP = deactivate text banking
  • HELP = list and description of all text commands

Avoid sending personal (confidential) information through regular email.  Our "Secure Email Support" from within Online Banking provides a protected way to email your account-related inquiries directly to our Customer Service Center.  Learn more about "Secure Email Support" here.

You can also speak to a Customer Service Representative - Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (e-mail inquiries are typically handled within 24 hours).
