Columbia Bank Announces the Appointment of Mayra Rinaldi to Senior Vice President, Corporate Governance

FAIR LAWN, NJ – July 18, 2017 – Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank, is pleased to announce that Mayra Rinaldi has been appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Governance. In her new position, Mrs. Rinaldi will retain her position as Corporate Secretary and will manage the Bank’s corporate documents and records and ensure their compliance with federal and state obligations.
Mrs. Rinaldi joined Columbia Bank in 2000 as a Teller in the bank’s Linden branch office. She was promoted to Head Teller at the bank’s Edison office in 2006 and was subsequently named Assistant Branch Manager. In 2011, she was promoted to the newly-created position of BSA/AML Supervisor. She was appointed an Officer in 2013 and a year later promoted to Corporate Secretary.
“Mayra Rinaldi brings to her new position extensive banking and analytical experience,” Mr. Kemly said. “Mayra is a well-known figure in banking, business and community affairs, volunteering her time in support of Habitat for Humanity, the March of Dimes, the Phoenix Center and the Monmouth food bank.”
Mrs. Rinaldi graduated from Kean University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with academic honors and is currently attending the Stonier School of Banking. She resides with her family in Mahwah, New Jersey.
