Columbia Bank Announces The Appointment Of Michael Campbell To Senior Vice President, Community Development Officer

FAIR LAWN, NJ – August 18, 2017 – Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank, is pleased to announce that Michael Campbell has been appointed Senior Vice President, Community Development Officer. In his new position, he will continue to manage the bank’s community development activity and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance.
Prior to joining Columbia Bank in 1999 as Community Development Specialist, he served in a number of positions at CitiBank in New York City, including Business Development Officer at their Community Lending Center, Customer Service Representative, Mortgage Specialist and Home Equity Representative. He was appointed Community Development Officer later that year.
“Michael Campbell brings to his new position extensive bank management experience,” Mr. Kemly said. “Mike is a well-known figure in banking, business and community affairs, volunteering his time in support of many different charitable endeavors including Habitat for Humanity, the March of Dimes, the Phoenix Center, the Monmouth Food Bank, Paterson Housing Authority and the Paterson AM Rotary Club.”
Mr. Campbell is a U.S. Navy Reserve veteran and earned a Bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Norfolk State University and a Master’s degree from the Milano School of International Affairs. Mr. Campbell resides in Jersey City, New Jersey.
