Columbia Bank Announces The Appointment of Therone L. Hopkins to Vice President Commercial Lender III

Columbia Bank is pleased to announce that Therone L. Hopkins has been appointed as a Vice President, Commercial Lender III. In his new role, Mr. Hopkins will focus on Commercial and Industrial lending within the bank’s Central New Jersey Region.

Prior to joining Columbia, Mr. Hopkins held several positions managing business portfolios. Most recently, he served as a Vice President, Senior Business Manager at Capital One Bank.

"We are excited to have Mr. Hopkins join the Columbia Bank Commercial Lending team," said Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank. "Therone has nearly 12 years of experience in the financial services industry and will help to expand our commercial lending presence."

Mr. Hopkins holds both a B.S. in Business Management and a M.B.A. in Project Management from Capella University. He serves as a board member of the Greater Newark Enterprises Corporation and regularly volunteers in the community. He currently resides in Newark, New Jersey.
