Columbia Bank Foundation Awards Largest Grant To Date

Grant Will Upgrade to Haddonfield Plays & Players Theatre in Haddonfield, New Jersey

FAIR LAWN, NJ – October 30, 2018 – The Columbia Bank Foundation has recently provided $87,360 in funding to Haddonfield Plays & Players theatre in Haddonfield, New Jersey. The grant will upgrade the theatre’s lighting and sounds systems, and create a more efficient box office.

Haddonfield Plays and Players provides affordable theatre to the local Delaware Valley audiences. Aside from main stage productions, the theatre also runs a Stage Kidz, Stage Teenies, and Shining Stars program which offers teens and young adults with developmental disabilities a chance to perform.

“As our largest donation to date, we are excited to aid the Haddonfield Plays & Players and give performers of all ages a chance on stage,” said Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank. “As a proud supporter of the arts, we believe in the creative energy it brings to the community.”
