Columbia Bank Foundation Announces New Grant Program
Up To 5 New Grant Opportunities Added
FAIR LAWN, NJ – April 11, 2019 – The Columbia Bank Foundation has introduced a new Large Grant Program that will fund up to 5 community-based grants between $50,000 and $150,000 to eligible 501 (c)(3) local organizations.
“As one of the largest private foundations in New Jersey, this new Grant Program represents another unique opportunity for our bank to provide meaningful support to local charitable organizations needing to maintain their current service levels or seeking to expand,” said Thomas J. Kemly, President of the Columbia Bank Foundation. “The Columbia Bank Foundation is committed to building better, stronger and safer communities throughout New Jersey.”
In order to be considered for a grant, a formal request must be submitted online to ColumbiaBankOnline.com no later than August 31st, 2019. All requests will then be reviewed by the Foundation’s Board of Directors and will be announced by year’s end.
The Columbia Bank Foundation was created to serve the needs of local communities, and provide grants and contributions to organizations recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Columbia Bank Foundation actively seeks to provide support in six major areas: affordable housing programs, community investment and economic development opportunities, financial literacy and educational opportunities, health and human services, food pantries, and the arts.
