Columbia Bank Foundation Grant Supports The Opportunity Center

Opportunity Center

Support Will Purchase New Client Van

FAIR LAWN, NJ – June 18, 2019 The Opportunity Center, located in Fair Lawn, has received a $48,000 grant from the Columbia Bank Foundation to purchase a new client van. The Opportunity Center provides life enriching programs for clients with a broad range of disabilities like Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. The van will be equipped with higher ceilings, and larger aisle ways that will allow clients to enter and exit the van and allow staff to secure the clients more easily.

“We are proud to assist the Opportunity Center with their efforts to help those with disabilities within our community,” Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank. “It is our hope that this new van will promote easy, safer travel for them.”
