Columbia Bank Helps Local Westfield Organizations Through “Banking for a Cause” Promotion
FAIR LAWN, NJ – October 5, 2018 – As part of Columbia Bank’s Banking for a Cause promotion at their newly-opened Westfield branch, Columbia Bank was able to support six local organizations. The program allows customers to choose an organization, donate $10 per account opened and adds bonuses for the top three winners. Westfield YMCA received the most votes and received a $2,820 check, Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad received $1,290, Westfield United Fund received $680. The remaining organizations like Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, Imagine a Center for Coping With Loss, and Furniture Assist Inc. received their proceeds and a $250 bonus. Total donations were nearly $6,000 for the promotion.
