Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI) Is Latest Columbia Bank Foundation Donation Recipient
FAIR LAWN, NJ – November 9, 2018 – Columbia Bank, through their Columbia Bank Foundation, recently issued a $10,000 donation to the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI) in Oakland. The donation was a result of the bank’s Employee Sponsored Giving Program, where each month employees select organizations to nominate and vote for an organization of their choice. This month’s theme was Animal Welfare Month.
“We are proud to support RBARI and their efforts to provide care to animals in need,” said Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO. “We salute their no kill policy and the compassion they show towards finding new homes for these pets.”

The Columbia Bank Foundation actively seeks to provide support in seven major areas: affordable housing programs, community investment and economic development opportunities, financial literacy and educational opportunities, health and human services, community sponsored events, food pantries, and the arts. Special consideration is always given to programs that provide a measurable community impact.
