In order to seamlessly onboard Freehold Bank clients to Columbia Bank, a systems conversion will begin on Friday, October 4th, and conclude on the morning of Monday, October 7th.

Freehold Bank branches will close at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 4th, and will reopen as Columbia Bank branches on Monday, October 7th.

What You Need To Know:

Prior to conversion weekend:

  • Visit a branch to conduct any large cash withdrawals or account openings before the temporary closure
  • Make time-sensitive payments prior to the conversion weekend to avoid any payment delays
  • Check your balance prior to the systems conversion as you will not be able to view your current balance throughout the weekend
    • Our team will also not have access to your balance

During conversion weekend:

  • You can use your debit card throughout the weekend. Freehold Bank customers should begin using their Columbia Bank debit cards as of Saturday, October 5th
  • Columbia Bank branches and former Freehold Bank branches will be temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday, October 7th
  • Online, mobile and telephone banking will be unavailable
