This volunteer crew of Columbia Bank employees recently teamed up with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) in Hillside to sort and distribute food to needy residents.  CFBNJ is the largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization in the state.

“We are extremely pleased to assist the Community Food Bank of New Jersey with their charitable mission to fight hunger locally and to assist those living in poverty with long-term solutions,” noted Thomas J. Kemly, Columbia Bank’s President and CEO.  “As a true community bank, Team Columbia remains committed to helping local charities make a difference in people’s lives.”

Columbia Bank is a regular supporter of local food banks and feed-the-hungry programs throughout New Jersey and collects food items as part of their annual food collection efforts.  The bank was recently honored by The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey as “A Champion of Good Works.”
