Columbia Bank is looking to ease the stress of the holidays by donating approximately 100 turkeys to those in need.
"During these difficult times, Columbia Bank is providing a free turkey to local nonprofits and community organizations to help feed those families in need," said Thomas J. Kemly, Columbia Bank's President and CEO. "By connecting with local organizations, it is our hope that a free turkey helps to make someone's holiday a little brighter."
Bank employees will personally deliver turkeys to 18 organizations, including New Hope Community Ministries, St. Paul CDC, CUMAC, 13th Ave School, Women Rising, Calvary Temple International of Wayne, Madison Avenue Crossroads Ministry, Pequannock Township Food Pantry, Heard AME Church, St. Joseph's Social Service Center, Center for Food Action, Cornerstone Christian Church, Market Street Mission, Keyport Food Pantry, United Way of Newark, St. John Soup Kitchen, Cathedral Soup Kitchen, and Family Promise of Southwest NJ.
