Tom Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank, is pleased to announce that Barbara Komor has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations. In her new role, Ms. Komor will lead the Card Services, Customer Service Call Center, and Loan Servicing Departments. Ms. Komor will focus on implementing various Operations Projects for 2021 and improving the reporting metrics and customer service experience in the Operations Division.

Ms. Komor has over 30 years of banking experience, starting her career at Independence Bank in the Management Training program. After completing the program, and with the merger of Commerce Bank, Barbara became a Branch Manager in the Retail Division. She later moved over to Freedom Bank in 2008 as an Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager, and was later promoted to Senior Vice President. In July 2013, Barbara joined Atlantic Stewardship Bank as Vice President, Manager of Operations and Electronic Services. She was promoted to First Vice President, Manager of Operations and Electronic Services in 2016, which she held until our merger in 2020.
Ms. Komor is a graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, with a BA in Economics and Finance.
