On Saturday, June 27th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, participating Columbia Bank branches will offer free homebuying seminars hosted by experienced mortgage professionals. This free event allows residents to learn from experts about pre-approval options, financing solutions, down payment assistance eligibility, reduced interest rates, and more.

Attendees can enjoy:

  • Homebuying financial literacy education: Columbia Bank offers financial literacy seminars to help the public gain homebuying tips and compete in the housing market. Topics will include the benefits of buying vs. renting, managing your credit score, what lenders look at, the difference between a pre-approval and pre-qualification, and eligibility for programs that can enhance affordability.
  • A chance to win a $100 home improvement gift card.
