Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group evaluated more than 8,800 financial institutions through financial performance metrics and a nationwide survey of over 140,000 customers. More than 66,000 customers evaluated their financial institutions across 12 categories, including customer service, perks and benefits, fees, and interest rates. Based on this comprehensive analysis, the 500 highest‑scoring banks and 500 highest‑scoring credit unions were named America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2026.
