The Columbia Bank Foundation recently issued a $10,000 grant to the Friends of The Community Center of Ridgewood Foundation as part of the Foundation’s current initiative to partner with local communities and Boards of Education within the Bank’s service area. The grant will be used to purchase new computers and art software in their Senior Community Center.
“We are proud to partner with Friends of The Community Center of Ridgewood Foundation,” said Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank. “The upgrades will increase resources within the community and engage seniors with new technology.”
Members of Columbia Bank were invited to the town’s council meeting for a check presentation with local council members, the Community Center Advisory Board, and Deanna Schablik, Recreation Program Coordination, who will oversee the computer program. The Columbia Bank Foundation was created to serve the needs of local communities, and provide grants and contributions to organizations recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
