Columbia Bank Foundation Announces Special Large Grant Program to Support Affordable Housing and Housing Assistance Needs.

This large grant program is intended to address affordable housing and housing assistance needs in New Jersey. The Foundation is seeking organizations who have an impactful need and will focus on providing support to Camden, Jersey City, Newark or Paterson as well as the cities’ surrounding communities. 

Awarded grants will range from approximately $50,000 to $100,000.

How to apply:

  • Request letters will be accepted until October 23, 2023 and should include:
    • Statement of your organization’s need
    • Description of your organization; include mission, history and highlights
    • Description of project to be funded
    • Expected outcomes/impact of project
    • Project start and completion date
    • Communities impacted
    • Availability for site visit and/or presentation in the month of November
  • Request Letters should be provided via email to [email protected] with reference to 2023 Large Grant Housing Program.

 

Review process:

  • Request letters will be reviewed and offers to apply will be extended by November 1, 2023.
  • Grant awards will be presented during the Foundation’s November board meeting. Subsequently, funding decisions will be distributed.

Organizations seeking funding from CBF must be tax exempt with a 501(c)(3) status as a public charity of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations must be in operation for a minimum of three years.
